The Michelin Guide's review
Although the façade and the two towers were added in the 19C, the chevet with column buttresses and the transept of this ancient 12C and 13C priory are original. Inside, the nave vault with intersecting ribs is in Anjou Gothic style. The north tower is home to a set of 52 bells, while the polychrome wood statue of St James in pilgrim garb serves as a reminder that the church was once a stopping place for pilgrims on the Way of St James.
