This museum housed in Hôtel Bertrand (built in 1769) has diverse collections: Napoleon and his Era, with numerous objects that belonged to General Bertrand, the Emperor and his entourage; paintings and sculptures from the 16C to 19C (Hieronymus Bosch, Joseph Vernet, Ernest Nivet, Camille Claudel); traditional Berry; local archaeology and a remarkable Egyptology cabinet with a 5C-6C Coptic mummy.
