The Michelin Guide's review
Thirteen of the sixteen emperors who reigned over China are buried near the village of Changping, in accordance with Feng Shui rules. The tombs' architecture is impressive but few are visible and the visit consists of a funereal tomb amidst dense crowds followed by a rapid climb up the other side with no explanations. The fascinating museum, on the other hand, showcases photos of the digs and the restoration work.
