The Michelin Guide's review
Accessible only in summertime, Bossons glacier cable-car ferries you up to a snack bar-chalet (alt. 1,425m/4,675ft), overlooking the glacier formed by the snow of Mont Blanc. Look out for a wheel of the Air India plane that crashed on Mont Blanc in 1950 with over 140 passengers on board. An open-air exhibition, from mid-June to mid-September along a forest trail around the edge, gives you a closer look at the evolution of this glacier.
