The Michelin Guide's review
Standing right at the top of the village, the Palazzo Pretorio, rebuilt in the 16C, boasts a handsome façade adorned with marble and terracotta coats of arms. A visit to the palace takes you through its prison, where the melancholic scribblings and thoughts of prisoners can be seen in the form of graffiti on the walls. The church of St Thomas and Prosper is home to The Tabernacle of the Executed and sinopias by Benozzo Gozzoli (15C). There are fine views of the surrounding countryside from the tower.
