The Michelin Guide's review
Pic St-Loup is the highest point (658m) in a long ridge overlooking the scrubland of the Montpellier garrigues. Recognisable by its distinctively pointed silhouette, it commands a magnificent panoramic view from its summit. To the northwest and north, the view extends to the Cévennes. To the east, we discover the plain of Nîmes and, beyond the Rhône Valley, Mt Ventoux, the Alpilles, the Luberon; to the southeast, the Camargue; to the south, the Mediterranean; to the southwest, on the horizon, the Canigou and the Corbières.
