The Michelin Guide's review
The chapel stands in a remote spot in a wooded enclosure on the southwest flank of Monte San Petrone. It is thought that it was built in the 13C, in a style and according to standards already well established in 12C Pisan Romanesque art. Above the side door, the tympanum is carved with a vivid Temptation of Eve; the victory of Good over Evil is depicted on the south door. Inside, naïve and lively frescoes (16C) decorate the choir.
