The Michelin Guide's review
This Cistercian monastery was founded in 1170 and is still home to nuns of the Order of St Bernard of Clairvaux. Its 16C church and the chapterhouse are two extraordinary examples of the sobriety and purity of Cistercian architecture. The monastery's works of art (altarpieces, paintings and sculptures) are exhibited in the old cellar.
