The Michelin Guide's review
The college received its first charter in 1446 and takes its name from two queens who were its patrons. Old Court, finished in 1449, is a perfect example of late medieval, red-brick architecture. Erasmus, the philosopher, taught Greek here and the brick Erasmus Building, designed in 1960 by Basil Spence, perpetuates his memory. Another recent addition is the glass and concrete Cripp's Court, designed by Powell, Moya and Partners in 1981.
