The Michelin Guide's review
Period buildings from the region dating back to the pioneering era have been reassembled on the shores of Lake Glenmore as part of this museum showcasing Canada's living history. Highlighting the history of Western Canada, it focuses on four themes: the fur trading fort and the First Nations encampment (1860s), the pre-railways settlement (1880), the Prairies railway town (1910) and the Heritage Town Square (1930s).
