  The Michelin Guide's review
The Memorial's building occupies the site of the command bunker of the German General W. Richter, who fought against British and Canadian troops on 6 June 1944. This "museum for peace" is a place of history and reflection on the close links between the rights of Man and the preservation of peace. Visitors are encouraged to undertake a journey back into the collective memory from 1918 to the present day.
