The Michelin Guide's review
Much damaged during the war, this fine Flamboyant-Gothic building was begun in the 14C and modified in the 15C. Its clock tower door was inspired by the church tower of Église St Pierre. In the vast nave, note the lantern tower, at the transept crossing, where the cylindrical cavity has some rather ornate walls. A gold-covered statue of Joan of Arc was erected in the chevet in 1964.
