The Michelin Guide's review
The Beomeosa Fish Temple is one of the most beautiful temples in Korea. You are still in Busan, but far away from the hustle and bustle of Seomyeon. Before entering the complex, take in the enchanting natural setting: torrents, wisteria, bamboo groves and fragrant pines. Founded in 678 by the monk Eusang, the temple has three terraces. You walk under the squat pillars of the Iljumun before looking up to take in the ceiling of the Daeung-jeon decorated with flowers, symbolising the word of Buddha falling from the sky.
