Kluane is ringed by mountains and fed by glaciers, the factor in its incredibly beautiful color. To the south and west lie the Kluane Ranges, to the north and east the Ruby Range. All of them are reflected in the icy blue waters of this lake, the surface of which can change from a rippling mirror to a heaving mass of waves in a very short period.
