The Michelin Guide's review
The former granary barn of the royal monastery today houses a collection of fabrics and finery that provides an insight into the royal costume in 13C Castile. These garments (tunics, capes, trimmings) were found in tombs. The most precious come from the tomb of Crown Prince Ferdinand de la Cerda, which escaped desecration by Napoleon's soldiers in 1809.
