The Michelin Guide's review
Bundi Palace, a collection of austere buildings in the pure Rajput style whose construction began in the early 17C, stands on a hillside. The entire complex is entirely devoid of any Mughal decorative elements. The Chitra Shala is adorned with splendid wall paintings (18C-19C), which illustrate scenes from Indian mythology (Krishna's life) and court life in fine detail. Head up to Taragarh Fort - the view makes the climb well worth while!
