The Michelin Guide's review
With its open narthex and rich floral décor framing the door and the portal, which separates the facades in two, Doamnei Church is a fine example of Wallachian architecture, whilst also announcing the future Brâncovenesc style. It was built at the behest of Maria Doamna, wife of the prince of Wallachia, Serban Cantacuzino (1683).
