The Michelin Guide's review
Designed by Poelaert in 1859, this monument commemorates the National Congress that drew up the Belgian Constitution after the 1830 Revolution. On top is a statue of Leopold I and at its feet, two lions guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
