The Michelin Guide's review
The town hall is a Gothic masterpiece. The building was started in 1401, but two centuries later it still only had the left wing and belfry. Nowadays, the building is dominated by the 96m-tall tower designed by Van Ruysbroeck with an elegant filigree of stone. A gilded copper St Michel perches on top. Lovely decoration and artworks inside.
