The Michelin Guide's review
This museum occupies the former St John's Hospital, which was built in the 12C. The superbly restored interior displays works of art and objects illustrating a variety of subjects, including the building's history of hospitals. In the old chapel are six paintings by Hans Memling including the admirable Shrine of St Ursula and the Mystical Marriage of St Catherine. In the little cloister is the the old 17C pharmacy. Stairs lead up to attic rooms, in the largest of which are impressive oak beams.
