This museum's extensive and varied collections of artefacts attract amateurs and specialists alike. Exhibits include glassware, pottery and silverware from Antiquity, the Far East and the Bristol region, local archeological and geological artefacts, paintings (19C Italian and French schools and the 19C and 20C Scottish school), a display of costume jewellery, Assyrian and Ancient Egyptian antiquities, scale models of locomotives and displays of maritime history.
