The Michelin Guide's review
This prestigious botanical centre is dedicated to endangered plants: it saved the Ruizia cordata from extinction when there were but a few specimens left on Reunion island. Visitors also get to admire the spectacular flowering of the Madeira cranesbill. The 22ha landscaped grounds are also home to popular ornamental plants, including some magnificent magnolias and numerous camelias. The greenhouses (1 000m2) recreate a variety of exotic environments: subtropical islands, tropical rainforests etc.
