The Michelin Guide's review
This Baroque cathedral, originally a Romanesque building, boasts a neo-Classical façade by Jakob Pirchstaller (1783) flanked by two bell towers. The interior, with gildings which reflect the light, is decorated with marble, stucco and frescoes by Paul Troger. The beautiful groin-arched Romanesque cloister is adorned with interesting frescoes from the 14C-15C.
