Les Jardins Tranquilles
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Just a stone's throw from Brantôme and its major roads, whose traffic you can sometimes hear, the Jardins Tranquilles extend over 3ha on the banks of the Dronne. As you wander through this refreshing environment, you will see an avenue of laburnum trees leading to a rotunda, a pond with water fountains reminiscent of Italy, a Japanese garden with a small island and a vegetation chessboard. The atmosphere and ambience are constantly changing, as are the colours and foliage of the plants (600 varieties). A peaceful place to picnic after visiting Brantôme.
