The Michelin Guide's review
Set on the heights of the lovely Grand River, this pleasant house (1858) is furnished much as it would have been in Alexander Graham Bell's day, with an interesting display on his life, inventions and research. Next-door, a smaller clapboard structure, moved to this spot from downtown Brantford, was Canada's first telephone office (1877-1880). Inside there is an early telephone exchange and displays on the development of the telephone.
