The Michelin Guide's review
This park, which covers 75 000 ha, between Bragança and the Spanish border includes the Serras of Montesinho and Coroa . There is an abundance of preserved wildlife and wild boars, wolves, foxes and birds of prey have made the park their sanctuary. Vegetation comes in the form of oak and chestnut trees and heather and rock roses grow on the high ground. This area has kept its special rural traditions, which are still visible in the architecture and lifestyle of its inhabitants.
