The Michelin Guide's review
King House stands at the eastern end of the main street. Built in the 18C for the King family, English aristocrats sent to subdue the region, it later housed the army. It charts the history of local power and politics, from the Irish chieftains to the English landowners. The ground-floor houses the town's art collections. A small Farmers' Market takes place in the grounds every Sunday.
