The Michelin Guide's review
This monastery, the pantheon of the kings and noblemen of Aragon-Navarre, occupies a spectacular site. In the 17C, following a series of fires, the new monastery was built, while the oldest features were stored in the old monastery: the lower church is one of the few surviving Mozarabic (8C) buildings in the region. In the upper section, visitors will find the pantheon of Aragon noblemen (11C-14C), the upper church (with the royal pantheon) and the cloister (splendid capitals).
