A tour of the former Tanneries Bortoises, which closed down in 1991, offers an insight into the different stages of leather processing, from the raw skin to the finished product. After being shown round the machinery exhibition hall, visitors can watch a video illustrating the history of the local tanneries and depicting a contemporary tanner's job.
