Ermitage de la Trinité
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
This ancient sanctuary is located in a beautiful site, amid green oaks, olive groves and enormous granite boulders. It was probably frequented as of prehistory, then by hermits, when Christianity first came to Bonifacio. The early convent was reworked in the 13C, before being significantly restored in 1880. A short walk along the paths to the right of the sanctuary will reward you with a splendid view over Bonifacio and its plateau, called le Piale.
