The Michelin Guide's review
This is one of four territorial prisons still standing in the United States. Built by prisoners in 1870, this fortress-style construction with sandstone walls was in use until 1973. Today, the prison comprises around 30 historic buildings, including the prison cells and the J. Curtis Earl Memorial Exhibit of Arms and Armaments, all of which are open to the public.
