  The Michelin Guide's review
This museum has around a hundred works by Fernando Botero, a Colombian artist born in 1932 and famous for his world of rounded lines, populated by corpulent figures and animals. His Mona Lisa notwithstanding, you will see portraits of stock characters (priests, peasants, soldiers etc), still lifes, views of Colombian villages, and small-scale models of statues that adorn Plaza Botero in Medellín. The artist's private collection consists of 85 masterpieces made by the greatest names in 20C art.
