The Michelin Guide's review
The nave of the church is all that remains of this former Convent of the Poor Clare Sisters (1647), which was largely destroyed in the 20C. The superbly restored church affords a good insight into 17C and 18C arts and architecture: the nave has preserved its splendid barrel vault decorated with golden floral motifs and, on both sides of the large Baroque altarpiece in the apse, the walls are covered with paintings and religious sculptures.
