The Michelin Guide's review
Annexed into Bogotá in 1954, Usaquén had been a village until that point. It went on to become a residential and shopping district that is very popular with foreigners and expats. Santa Bárbara Church (1665) stands on its main square. The atmosphere in this neighbourhood is different to the rest of Bogotá. You'll find bakeries and small independent fashion boutiques in its peaceful streets. A flea market is held here every Sunday.
