This 19C villa (quinta) was offered to Simón Bolívar by the new government just after independence. Subsequently the villa served as a school, a brasserie then a political centre. It now houses a museum devoted to El Libertador: here you can find various personal objects that belonged to Bolívar, including his bed and other period furniture and items.
