At the southernmost tip of Block Island is a series of spectacular multicolored clay cliffs known as Mohegan Bluffs. Climb up steep narrow paths to get to the top and admire superb views of the Atlantic. Wooden staircases descend to the pebble beaches below. Since 2016, the huge wind turbines visible from the beach are part of the first Wind Farm off the coast of the United States, which supplies some 17,000 homes with electricity.
