On the Franco-German border, the archaeological park of Bliesbruck-Reinheim showcases the remains of an antique city, occupied since the Neolithic Age and home to substantial numbers in the Celtic period, as suggested by the Celtic tomb of the "Princess of Reinheim" (c. 400 BCE), A Gallo-Roman villa (1C-5C) at Reinheim, fitted with all manner of comforts (wall paintings, a private bath and underfloor heating) and the public thermal baths at Bliesbruck.
