As you walk along the right-hand side of the cathedral you became fully aware of its splendour, including a colonnaded gallery, windows, and a magnificent Christ on the tympanum of the "door of excommunication". Of the three doorways on the west façade, the middle one, richly adorned with low-reliefs and surrounded by sirens and harpies, is particularly impressive. In the sober yet bright interior, don't miss the ambo, a medieval masterpiece, or the roof structure, with its brightly coloured beams. A forest of 30 decorated columns embellishes the crypt.
