The entrance to this amazing natural cave is through a museum. The site is of dual historic interest: animal skeletons dating from the Palaeolithic times were found here, including a splendid dwarf elephant; next it was inhabited by humans and their domestic animals, most likely from Sicily, for 7,000 years. The oldest traces of human manufacture have been found here, providing a vibrant testimonial!
