Tarlati Square
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
This square takes its name from one of the members of the Tarlati family, Pier Saccone, who had had one of the fortress' (cassero) four towers built here, the only significant remnant of which is a crenellated clock tower. To the left of Piazza Tarlati, a terrace boasts a fine view of the valley with, to the right, the Castello di Poppi and, as a backdrop, the gentle undulations of the mountainous Pratomagno ridge.
