The Michelin Guide's review
Köpenick Castle was built in 1681 for the future Frederick I. It houses part of the collection from the Kulturforum's decorative arts museum. Highlights in its twenty or so rooms include marquetry work from Haldenstein Castle (Switzerland, circa 1548); the Baroque mirror cabinet from Wiesentheid Castle (Franconia, 1724); the Chinese cabinet from the Graneri Palace (Turin, 1740); the impressive Wappensaal, decorated with stucco coats of arms; and the extensive collection of glassware and porcelain.
