Marisches Museum
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The picturesque Märkisches Museum complex, built between 1899 and 1908, is arranged around two inner courtyards. This museum collects all objects relating to the history of Berlin. Occupying two floors, it provides an opportunity to discover the city, from Ku'damm to Stalinallee, now Karl Marx Allee. Its many treasures include the Kaiser Panorama, a device designed (1883) by physician August Fuhrmann to enable spectators to see 25 stereoscopic views.
