The Michelin Guide's review
The former palace of the Marquess of Bergen op Zoom has been converted into a cultural centre. This late-Gothic brick and stone building dates back to the 15C and 16C and now comprises a museum, a gallery, a library and a restaurant. The palace's main hall, with its sculpted stone fireplace (1522), as well as its portraits, tapestries, paintings, furniture and gold- and silverwork, provide visitors with an insight into its refinement. The small arcaded courtyard is also an attractive feature.
