The Michelin Guide's review
Built between 1470-76 by Amadeo (the architect of the Carthusian monastery in Pavia), this marvel of Renaissance art has an elegant façade decorated liberally and jubilantly with both religious and profane subjects. The interior is decorated with finely worked sculptures and frescoes by Tiepolo and is home to funerary monuments of Bartolomeo Coleonni (surmounted by an equestrian statue of this mercenary leader ) and his daughter Medea, worked carefully and with great attention to detail by Amadeo.
