The Michelin Guide's review
En route to their summer residence, the Ming emperors halted at the Temple of Longevity (16C). The Drum and Clock towers provide a foretaste of the architecture of the Forbidden City and the former rather resemble a miniature version of the latter. An art museum inside the temple showcases remarkable porcelain crockery and jade collections. At the end of your visit, stroll through the rock garden facing the Temple of the Eternal Buddha (1761).
