The Michelin Guide's review
Although often linked to its nuclear power plant, La Hague is however first and foremost the site of grandiose natural scenery. Cliffs that are among the tallest in Europe alternate with little sandy beaches and charming ports, all of which linked by a trail well-known to hikers: the Sentier des Douaniers. This "Land's End" with its jagged coastline is worth seeing for its spectacular landscape, as at the Nez de Jobourg and Écalgrain Bay, as well as for the beauty of its tropical gardens (Vauville).
