The Michelin Guide's review
Parque Nacional Cotubanamá (formerly del Este), covers over 800km2 between land and sea, providing shelter to an exceptional variety of flora and fauna. This unspoiled headland, home to pristine forest, together with the island of Saona, fringed by beautiful beaches and offering sanctuary to migrating birds, make up this huge domain. Traces of the Taíno civilisation can be seen in the pictograms in the Cueva del Puente. Paradise on earth.
