The Michelin Guide's review
The Baume cliffs, also known as the Belvédère de Crançot, are a magnificent vantage point over the valley. The corrie is huge; clapping eyes on it at the last minute is exhilarating. Close to the viewpoint furthest to the right, the Échelles de Crançot, which is in fact the stairway that replaced several ladders in the 17C, provide access to the bottom of the pass and to the caves.
