The monumental Su Nuraxi archaeological site is one of the most important vestiges of proto-Sardinian megalithic architecture. The extraordinarily complex basalt block structure is extremely well preserved, and stretches into an open landscape stripped of trees and framed by the strange formations created by the plateau, La Giara di Gesturi. The village occupying the nuraghe is exceptional from a scientific point of view and truly spectacular.
