The Michelin Guide's review
The Wedgwood Factory (1938), set in parkland, was a model in its day. Visitors can find out about the pottery-making process and admire the porcelain gallery, from neo-Classical (the famous Ancient figures in white on a blue background), Victorian, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and modern styles. Next door, the Wedgwood Museum is dedicated to the history of the site and its founder, Josiah Wedgwood (paintings, documents and porcelains).
